The Wall came back, CBS buried it after midnight Eastern, and the houseguest nobody in the Red Corner bothered to court for four weeks is now holding the key.

CBS Made Everyone Wait For It
Pluto TV originally signaled a 9:30 p.m. Eastern start. Then the word came that CBS was holding the endurance competition until after midnight Eastern so Big Brother Unlocked could film after the live show.
Feeds finally returned at 9:48 p.m. house time. Making feed subscribers sit through more than two hours of dead air to protect a companion show is a genuinely bad trade, and the comments section said so loudly.
There was also a Bigfoot. At 9:51 p.m. a costumed Bigfoot wandered through the competition area and walked around with no explanation offered to the houseguests or the feeds. Big Brother does this sort of thing and then never mentions it again.
The Wall Did Not Go Easy On Anyone
By 9:50 p.m. every houseguest except Angela was still up. Then came freezing rain at 9:55, blue paint at 9:57, more rain at 10:05, and a steep tilt at 10:10 followed by another soaking.
Pink paint at 10:17. Green paint at 10:45. Whatever production spent on this competition, they got their money back in misery. Haley, as outgoing Head of Household, could only watch and call out the time.
The Drop Order Tells The Story
Taylor went first at 10:21, saying it hurt. Barrett dropped at 10:34, Devens at 10:36, and Dee at 10:42, which came earlier than her reputation would suggest. Melody was out by 10:52.
Mallory fell at 11:01, Chuk slipped a minute later, and Yash went at 11:04. That left Drew, Kamu Kirk and LaTrice Verrett hanging at 11:05, and Drew swung for about a minute before dropping at 11:10.
LaTrice Outlasted Kamu In The Dark
Feeds cut away at 11:15 with LaTrice and Kamu still up, and they stayed away long enough that it was obvious the ending was being hidden. Feeds came back at 11:32 with the houseguests inside and LaTrice holding the key.
Reporting from the feeds is that no deal was made. Kamu simply slipped. LaTrice is now the oldest houseguest to win The Wall in a non celebrity season, which is a legitimately remarkable physical result.
The reaction inside the house was immediate and loud. By 12:41 a.m. the group was telling LaTrice she had made history, and she spent the next half hour retelling the competition to anyone in the kitchen who would listen. At 1:07 a.m. she was still saying she just kept repeating hold on until it is over and did not realize Kamu had dropped until she opened her eyes.
The Red Corner Streak Is Finally Broken
Four consecutive weeks of Red Corner Heads of Household ended at 11:32 p.m. For the first time this season, nominations will be set by someone outside the group that has been steering every vote.
That is a bigger structural change than the eviction was. Haley’s blindside removed a player. LaTrice’s win removes the assumption that the block belongs to one alliance by default.
Haley Started Spiraling Almost Immediately
By 12:13 a.m. the storage room had become the busiest room in the house. Haley was openly panicking about going up, with Angela repeatedly reassuring her that she is safe and that she is close with LaTrice.
Mallory told Haley that Lyric had been the one who ratted her out, which is a convenient story for someone who voted Lyric out. Separately, Mallory, Yash and Barrett were giddy in the same room about the power shifting, and none of them think they are going up.
The Charm Offensive Is Already Underway
At 12:58 a.m. Yash complained to Melody that he now has to spend the week flattering LaTrice, and Melody asked the only question that matters, which is who goes on the block. Feed reporters noted the obvious problem with that plan.
The Red Corner ignored LaTrice for four weeks and is now planning a sudden friendship. At 1:04 a.m. Mallory was relaying Haley’s storage room comments straight to Drew and calling her a liar. Kamu, to his credit, told LaTrice at 2:00 a.m. that she won fair and square.
The read that matters is whether LaTrice sees the flattery for what it is. Feed watchers seem to think she will, and she has spent four weeks being overlooked by the exact people now knocking on her door.
